Energy gels and bars. We stock 226ers High Energy Gel and High Energy Gel XS, Applied Nutrition Endurance gels, PowerBar PowerGel and Energize bar, and MyProtein THE Energy Gel. They are practical ways to carry carbohydrates during exercise; some versions contain caffeine. Caffeine contributes to an increase in endurance performance and endurance capacity; the beneficial effect is obtained with 3 mg per kg of body weight one hour before exercise. Contains caffeine: not recommended for children or pregnant or breast-feeding women. Do not combine with other sources of caffeine and avoid taking it within 6 hours of bedtime.

Isotonic drinks and carbohydrates. 226ers Isotonic Drink and Energy Drink, Olimp Iso Plus, AllNutrition isotonic drinks, MyProtein THE Electrofuel, Applied Nutrition Carb-X and Cream of Rice, and OstroVit dextrose let you match your carbohydrate intake to your plan. Carbohydrates contribute to the recovery of normal muscle function (contraction) after highly intensive and/or long-lasting physical exercise leading to muscle fatigue and the depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscle. The beneficial effect is obtained with the consumption of carbohydrates, from all sources, at a total intake of 4 g per kg body weight, at doses within the first 4 hours and no later than 6 hours following highly intensive and/or long-lasting exercise. See our carbohydrates collection.

Electrolytes. Sweat causes you to lose water and minerals, mainly sodium. 226ers Sub9 Pro Salts and Applied Nutrition Hydration+ provide electrolytes; magnesium contributes to electrolyte balance when it provides at least 15% of the NRV per serving. More options in hydration and electrolytes.

Other products. Beta-alanine (may cause a harmless tingling of the skin), citrulline malate, beetroot powder, BCAAs and cordyceps are described factually, without health claims. For after training, there are products such as Endurance Recovery and THE Recovery Hyrox.
