Energy and Performance Supplements: Creatine, Caffeine, Protein and Vitamins

Training, diet and rest come first. No supplement replaces a well-structured training plan, a varied diet and enough sleep. In this collection we bring together energy and performance supplements with nutrients that carry authorised EU health claims, always with the conditions under which they apply, available online with delivery in Portugal or at our physical shop in Malveira.

Creatine monohydrate. One of the most studied sports supplements. You will find creatine monohydrate from Optimum Nutrition, MyProtein, Applied Nutrition, OstroVit and Quamtrax, including Creapure® versions. Creatine increases physical performance in successive bursts of short-term, high-intensity exercise; the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 3 g of creatine. See all creatine.

Caffeine and pre-workouts. Pre-workouts such as Applied Nutrition ABE, Mutant Madness or Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Pre-Workout contain caffeine; check the mg per serving on each product page. With at least 75 mg per serving, caffeine contributes to increased alertness and to improved concentration. Caffeine also contributes to an increase in endurance performance and endurance capacity and to a reduction in the perceived exertion/effort during exercise: the beneficial effect is obtained with an intake of 3 mg per kg of body weight one hour before exercise. Contains caffeine: not recommended for children or pregnant or breast-feeding women. Do not combine with other sources of caffeine and avoid taking it within 6 hours of bedtime. Explore our pre-workouts.

Whey protein. Gold Standard 100% Whey, Impact Whey, Elite 100% Whey or Iso Whey Zero help you reach your daily protein intake. Protein contributes to a growth in muscle mass and to the maintenance of muscle mass. Compare options in protein.

Vitamins and minerals. Magnesium, vitamins B2, B6 and B12 and iron contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue when they provide at least 15% of the NRV per serving. Here you will find magnesium glycinate and malate, methyl B12, iron and multivitamins such as Opti-Men. Ingredients such as ashwagandha, maca or citrulline are described factually, without health claims.
