PowerBar Energize Original is a high-carbohydrate energy bar designed for endurance sports such as cycling, running and trail running. Each 55 g Chocolate bar provides 203 kcal and 39 g of carbohydrate from a mix of glucose and fructose sources (fructose-glucose syrup, maltodextrin, rice flour), with oat flakes, oat bran and rice crisps.

Each bar also contains 210 mg of sodium and 76 mg of magnesium (20% of the NRV). Magnesium contributes to electrolyte balance, to normal muscle function and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

Its chewy texture and 55 g size make it easy to carry in a jersey pocket or backpack, to eat before exercise or at regular intervals during long training sessions and races.
