Swanson Policosanol 20 mg is a food supplement with BioCosanol®, policosanol obtained from sugar cane wax. Each capsule provides 20 mg of policosanol, including 10 mg of octacosanol, 2 mg of triacontanol and 1 mg of hexacosanol.
Policosanol is a natural mixture of long-chain aliphatic alcohols found in plant waxes such as sugar cane. Octacosanol is its main component.
Important: if you take anticoagulant or antiplatelet medication (for example, warfarin, aspirin or clopidogrel), or any other medicine, talk to your doctor before use.
The manufacturer's suggested use is 1 capsule, one to two times per day. 60 capsules per pack (30 to 60 days). The capsule contains gelatine, so it is not suitable for vegetarians or vegans.
Directions
