PowerBar PowerGel Original is an energy gel for endurance sports. Each 41 g sachet provides 103 kcal and 26 g of carbohydrate from maltodextrin and fructose, plus around 206 mg of sodium (0.52 g of salt).

Its gel texture is easy to consume during exercise and it should be taken with plenty of water. The caffeine-free flavours contain no allergens in the ingredients; PowerBar also makes caffeinated flavours (50 mg per gel), identified on the pack.

The single 41 g sachet fits in a jersey pocket, running belt or hydration pack, for use during long training sessions and in competition.
