Glucosamine is an amino sugar; in this product it is obtained from shellfish (shrimp, crab, lobster, crayfish). Chondroitin is a glycosaminoglycan, here obtained from bovine cartilage. The "Extra Strength" version is the most concentrated in this NOW Foods range.
