NOW Foods Milk Thistle Extract with Turmeric combines milk thistle extract (Silybum marianum, fruit/seed) standardised to 80% silymarin with turmeric root (Curcuma longa) powder.

Each capsule provides 150 mg of milk thistle extract (120 mg of silymarin) and 350 mg of turmeric root. The 2-capsule serving provides 300 mg of milk thistle extract, with 240 mg of silymarin, and 700 mg of turmeric root.

Milk thistle is a plant of the daisy family native to the Mediterranean region; silymarin is the group of flavonolignans found in its seeds. Turmeric is the rhizome of a plant of the ginger family, known as a bright yellow spice.
