Life Extension Estrogen for Women is a food supplement in vegetarian tablets that combines soy extract standardised for isoflavones with several plant extracts: broccoli, Norway spruce lignans (HMRlignan™), dong quai, liquorice and chasteberry.
Each tablet provides:
- 300 mg of broccoli super-concentrate extract (seed and aerial parts), a source of glucosinolates
- 137.5 mg of soy extract (seed), standardised to 40% total isoflavones — about 55 mg of isoflavones, of which 15% genistein and 14% daidzein
- 56 mg of HMRlignan™, Norway spruce lignan extract (Picea abies, knotwood), standardised to 90% hydroxymatairesinol potassium complex
- 25 mg of dong quai extract (Angelica sinensis, root), standardised to 1% ligustilide
- 25 mg of liquorice extract (root)
- 20 mg of chasteberry extract (Vitex agnus-castus, fruit), standardised to 5% flavonoids
It also contains 70 mg of calcium and 50 mg of phosphorus, from dicalcium phosphate.
"Estrogen for Women" is the trade name given to this formula by the manufacturer. The product does not contain oestrogen or any other hormones, and the name does not indicate any effect.
The manufacturer's serving is 1 tablet per day, in the morning. 30 tablets per pack (30 servings). Contains soy.
