BioTechUSA Diet Shake is a powdered shake based on whey protein concentrate, with fibre from several sources (inulin, oat flour, konjac glucomannan, citrus fibre, flaxseed and psyllium husk), L-carnitine, bromelain, chromium and calcium. "Diet Shake" is the product's trade name; according to the label, it is intended to supplement the diet and is not a meal replacement.

Each 30 g serving provides 15 g of protein, 4.7 g of fibre, 1050 mg of glucomannan, 220 mg of L-carnitine, 18 µg of chromium (45% NRV) and 115 mg of calcium, with 102 kcal (Chocolate flavour values; they vary slightly by flavour). It is high in protein and high in fibre and contains no palm oil, according to the manufacturer.

Protein contributes to a growth in muscle mass, to the maintenance of muscle mass and to the maintenance of normal bones. Chromium contributes to normal macronutrient metabolism and to the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels. Calcium is needed for the maintenance of normal bones.
