OstroVit Dextrose is a carbohydrate powder made from dextrose, the form of glucose obtained from starch. The Lemon version contains only dextrose, flavouring and an acidity regulator (citric acid). Each 50 g serving provides 43 g of carbohydrate (all sugars) and 171 kcal, with no fat or protein.
Carbohydrates contribute to the recovery of normal muscle function (contraction) after highly intensive and/or long-lasting physical exercise leading to muscle fatigue and the depletion of glycogen stores in skeletal muscle. The beneficial effect is obtained with the consumption of carbohydrates, from all sources, at a total intake of 4 g per kg of body weight, in doses taken within the first 4 hours and no later than 6 hours after highly intensive and/or long-lasting physical exercise.
A simple formula that dissolves easily in water, which you can take during and/or after training and combine with other products in your nutrition plan.

Dissolve 50 g (2.5 scoops) in 500 ml of water. Depending on your needs, take 1 to 2 servings a day, preferably during and/or after training.

Yes, you can add it to your protein shake or to other powdered products. Always respect the recommended daily dose of each product.
Dextrose is glucose (a monosaccharide). Maltodextrin is made up of chains of glucose molecules, so it has a lower sugar content and a less sweet taste.
