Swanson Albion Copper is a food supplement in capsules providing 2 mg of copper per capsule (200% NRV), as Albion® copper bisglycinate — copper chelated with the amino acid glycine.

Copper contributes to the maintenance of normal connective tissues, to normal energy-yielding metabolism, to normal functioning of the nervous system, to normal hair and skin pigmentation, to normal iron transport in the body, to the normal function of the immune system and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.

The serving is 1 capsule per day, with water. The tolerable upper intake level set by EFSA for copper is 5 mg per day in adults.
